Sheri Williams
Interim Director
Miss Sheri has been a steadfast educator here at Hilltop since 1999, embodying the spirit of our school. With experience spanning various classrooms including toddlers, preschool, and Kindergarten, she now serves as interim director. A devoted wife, mother, and proud grandmother, she actively contributes to The Rock church by working on the Tech team.
With an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from NECC (1985), Sheri has been a dedicated educator for decades. Her journey has been marked by a passion for nurturing young minds and an unwavering commitment to her community, defining Sheri's story as one of compassion, education, and faith.
Miss Sheri's presence at Hilltop is that of a kind and strong leader. Her guidance and dedication resonate throughout our school, inspiring students, staff, and parents alike. Sheri's legacy is one of not only academic excellence but also fostering a nurturing and empowering environment that echoes in our hearts.
Olivia O'Brien
Assistant Director
Miss Olivia began her journey at Hilltop as a devoted toddler teacher and has since evolved into the role of Assistant Director. Alongside her husband, she is an active contributor to the West Church community, participating in West Kids, Youth Group and the Young Adults group. Committed to her professional growth in education, she is currently advancing her expertise through an Early Education program at Middlesex Community College.
Her transition to a leadership role at Hilltop shows her dedication and ability to inspire positive change. For her, Hilltop is more than a workplace; it's a second home and family where she feels entirely in her element. In her expanded role, Miss Olivia continues to embody the heart and soul of what makes Hilltop a nurturing environment for every child and family she touches.
Jennifer Dickey
Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher
Miss Jen has been a member of Hilltop School since the summer of 2019. With an impressive 24 years of teaching experience, she's currently one of our treasured Infant/Toddler teachers. Miss Jen spent 20 years at Noah's Ark and then worked at Marigold Montessori before joining us. She earned her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Essex Community College in 2017. Miss Jen is talented at creating fun activities that help our little ones explore and enjoy the world around them.
When she's not with kids, Miss Jen enjoys leisurely walks, finding joy in the beauty of God's creation. She loves teaching kids that God cares about them no matter what and that each of them has a special plan in life. Her favorite quote from the Bible is Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through him who gives me strength."
Karen Rousseau
Infant/Toddler Teacher
With an impressive tenure of more than two decades at Hilltop School, Miss Karen stands as a dedicated and cherished member of our educational community. Currently serving as an Infant/Toddler teacher, she holds teacher qualifications accredited by the Department of Early Education and Care. Her commitment to fostering early childhood development is complemented by her personal role as a mother to two daughters and one son, all of whom were students of Hilltop School. Additionally, she is a grandmother to six treasured grandchildren. Miss Karen views her involvement in the lives of Hilltop School's children and families as a blessing and a sentiment that resonates deeply within her and enriches the educational experience she provides.
Jennifer Tejada Ramos
INFANT/TODDLER TEACHER
Meet Miss Jennifer, a dedicated toddler teacher whose journey into childcare began in 2004. From volunteering in youth centers to working in children's ministry, her calling led her to become a certified teacher through the EEC in 2020. With over two decades of experience and a background as a certified nursing assistant, she brings a unique perspective to her role, enriched by her diverse teaching certifications, including a specialization in child behavior.
For Miss Jennifer, working with children is more than just a profession – it's a calling she's passionate about. She finds joy in witnessing the sparkle of understanding in her students' eyes and cherishes every moment of their growth and development. Beyond the classroom, she enjoys farm activities, fall adventures, and exploring nature through walking trails. She embraces life with enthusiasm, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of her young charges as they journey together through the wondrous world of early childhood education.
Anyelis Vargas
Toddler Teacher
Meet Miss Angie, a dedicated teacher who brings hands-on experience from babysitting and a consistent role at Hilltop since March 2023. Currently pursuing a degree in Early Education and Care at Middlesex Community College, she's discovered her passion for nurturing kids. Since her own childhood, Miss Angie has held a deep affection for children, recognizing their qualities of innocence, trust, and boundless love.
Notably, Miss Angie shines as a natural with the youngest ones at our school, particularly the toddlers, due to her kind and gentle demeanor. She finds genuine joy in her interactions with children of all ages. From guiding and caring for them to sharing valuable life lessons, she takes pride in her role. Beyond traditional childcare, she embraces the privilege of introducing young ones to the love of Jesus. Outside of her childcare commitment, Miss Angie enjoys reading, writing, spending cherished moments with her family, and active participation in her church community.
Candice Nalbandian
Toddler Teacher
Meet Miss Candice, a dedicated teacher who was inspired by her mother's role as an infant teacher at Kinder Care Learning Center. Miss Candice's journey in early education began at just 13 years old when she started babysitting for families from Kinder Care. Since then, she has worked as a toddler teacher assistant and nanny, forming close bonds with numerous families in her community.
A lifelong resident of North Andover, Miss Candice graduated from North Andover High School in 2010. Over the years, she has cared for countless children, ranging from newborns to preteens, always prioritizing their safety, happiness, and emotional well-being. Recently certified as a teacher, she brings her passion for outdoor exploration into the classroom, fostering a love for nature and curiosity in her students. With her warm demeanor and genuine love for children, Miss Candice is committed to creating a nurturing environment where every child feels cherished and supported. She is also a proud parent to three children, all of whom have attended Hilltop School, further deepening her connection to the school community.
Elizabeth Swanney
Assistant Toddler Teacher
Meet Miss Lizzy, our newest toddler teacher! With a background in church nurseries and VBS programs, Miss Lizzy discovered her passion for childcare. Currently pursuing Early Childhood Education at Nashua Community College, she brings both experience and enthusiasm to our team. Miss Lizzy adores guiding young minds and fostering creativity through play and projects. Her decision to work with children was unexpected but has become her calling. Beyond the classroom, Miss Lizzy enjoys outdoor adventures, gardening, and spending time with her dog. She's excited to create a nurturing environment where every child feels loved and valued.
Seanya Wilson
Assistant Toddler Teacher
We are thrilled to introduce Miss Seanya as the newest addition to our toddler team. Miss Seanya brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate heart to our community. With a well-rounded background in childcare, she began babysitting at age 10 and took on the responsibility of caring for her younger siblings, including her brother who is diagnosed with autism. Her dedication to youth extends beyond her family as she has served as a youth leader, youth camp counselor, and supervisor at an after school program. Additionally, Miss Seanya has volunteered extensively with youth, demonstrating her commitment to nurturing and guiding children in various capacities.
In addition to her childcare experience, Miss Seanya is a licensed cosmetologist and a certified graduate of a high school leadership training course. She is also a talented recording music artist and songwriter. Miss Seanya believes that children are channels of wisdom and are incredibly teachable and fun. She is passionate about creating a safe environment where children are respected and their rights and opinions are valued. Her interests in singing, writing music, taking nature walks, and learning about God through nature reflect her belief in using every practical gift to glorify God. Miss Seanya is dedicated to teaching youth about God, believing that it provides them with protection and guidance as they grow.
Kerri Bergeron
Preschool Teacher
Since 2010, Kerri has consistently demonstrated her dedication to education at Hilltop School across diverse age groups, ranging from toddlers to Pre K, and presently excels as one of our respected Preschool teachers. With a seasoned background in early childhood instruction, Kerri's passion for nurturing young learners has been a constant in her extensive career. Prior to her tenure at Hilltop, she imparted her expertise in New Hampshire's educational landscape, supported by degrees attained from Northern Essex Community College and Southern New Hampshire University. Beyond her teaching career, Kerri's green thumb and family devotion further show her well-rounded and nurturing character, which greatly enriches the learning environment she creates for her students.
Kate O'Donnell
Preschool Teacher
Kate has worked at Hilltop since 2015. All 3 of her children attend Hilltop and she fell in love with the philosophy and community. Kate has worked in the field for many years before joining the Hilltop family. She has been the lead teacher in the toddler and preschool classrooms at Hilltop. She is currently teaching in the preschool classroom.
Mercedies Fernald
Preschool Teacher
Meet Miss Mercedies, an aspiring educator currently pursuing an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education at Northern Essex Community College. With experience as an assistant teacher at NEPC in Billerica, specializing in children with complex medical and cognitive challenges, Miss Mercedies has honed her skills in nurturing young minds. She also served as a substitute teacher at Moody School in Haverhill. Currently, Miss Mercedies is completing her practicum at Hilltop School, further enriching her understanding of early childhood education. Miss Mercedies finds immense joy in working with children and pouring the word of God into them, considering it a deeply rewarding part of her role in a child's educational journey.
Beyond her professional journey, she believes in instilling faith and values in children's lives, viewing education as a holistic enrichment process. In her free time, she cherishes moments with her family in Northern regions, enjoying activities like swimming.
Madison Gomez
Preschool Assistant Teacher
Miss Madison is a new addition to our team, bringing with her valuable experience as a former toddler assistant teacher in Danvers. She is passionate about contributing to children's education and helping them grow into independent individuals.
Outside of the classroom, Miss Madison enjoys reading and has a keen interest in history, which was her favorite subject in school. She looks forward to inspiring a love of learning in her students through her dedication and enthusiasm.
Crismely Veras Rosario
Preschool & Pre-K Teacher
Miss Crismely, a new addition to our team, embarked on her journey in early childhood education in 2022, starting as an assistant teacher. She quickly fell in love with working with children and their families, which inspired her to advance to a teaching role. With aspirations to continue growing in the field, Miss Crismely is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of her students through her nurturing spirit and deep-seated compassion.
Beyond her role in education, Miss Crismely volunteers at the Pregnancy Care Center, a Pro-Life Christian organization where she serves women and their families, and advocates for the unborn. Her Christian faith fuels her passion for serving others, which is evident in her work both in and out of the classroom. In her free time, she enjoys reading and writing, drawing inspiration from Christian authors like Joyce Meyer, and finding peace in nature. Miss Crismely's ultimate goal is to teach her students about Jesus and pour the love of Christ into their lives, while also cherishing the joy and peace they bring to her.
Emily Gosselin
PRE K TEACHER
Miss Emily is a dedicated educator who has been an invaluable part of our team for several years. Her afternoons are spent teaching and nurturing young minds, creating a lasting impact on their educational journey. Currently pursuing an early education teaching degree at Merrimack College, Miss Emily's passion for her work shines through in everything she does.
Her patience and love for teaching are evident in the way she interacts with the children. She always goes out of her way to ensure that each child feels valued and supported, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in her classroom. Miss Emily's commitment to fostering optimal learning environments is truly commendable, as she believes in providing not only education but also emotional growth for her students.

Janice Natalino
Pre K Teacher
Meet Jan, affectionately known as Mrs. Natalino, a cherished figure among the Hilltop community. With an illustrious career spanning over four decades in education, Jan has been an important part of our school since 2004. Currently in the role of a devoted Pre K teacher, her infectious warmth and kindness have left a mark on children, parents, and staff alike.
Jan's journey is filled with accomplishments, including a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's in Reading/Learning Disabilities. Her passion for teaching has been a driving force, evident in her prior roles at Haverhill Public Schools, Northern Essex Community College, The Village School in West Boxford, and Calvary Christian School in Derry, New Hampshire. At Hilltop, she radiates the spirit of Christian education, and her dedication shines brightly. Her family, which includes four children and ten grandchildren, brings her immeasurable joy and fulfillment. Most who set foot on Hilltop's grounds are already acquainted with Jan's reputation, a testament to her unwavering involvement, love, and boundless kindness.
Susan O'Hora
Pre K Teacher
Susan is known to the children in her care as Mrs. O. She was given the name by one of her long ago students who thought it was easier to say than "Mrs. O'Hora"! She has been teaching four and five year olds for over thirty years.
From a young age, Susan wanted to become a teacher, and joined the "Future Teachers of America Club" when she was in high school. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Western Connecticut State University in 1972.
Susan's career as a mother began in 1973 with the birth of her first child. She is the mother of five grown children and grandmother to nine grandchildren. She is proud of her children's successes both in their careers, and as parents. Careers include: a children's author and illustrator, a social worker, a newspaper/magazine manager, a musician singer songwriter, and a metal sculptor.
Susan loves art, nature, music, and books. She seeks to help the children develop a love for each and a sense of wonder of all God has created. She is known for making up songs about classroom routines or silly themes, and encouraging the children to be creative in their own expressions.
Mary Miller
Pre K Assistant Teacher
Miss Mary's dedication to fostering creativity and learning shines through her impressive background. Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, she brings a solid foundation to her role. Having served as a teacher's aide at Hilltop during many summers and an art instructor at a local art studio, Miss Mary seamlessly blends her love for education and artistry.
Enthusiastic about the imaginative ways children perceive the world, Miss Mary creates an inclusive and supportive space where they can freely express themselves. Her passion for art is contagious, as she guides young learners in exploring their creativity while emphasizing kindness and acceptance. Miss Mary's commitment to empowering children through art encapsulates her mission to inspire growth, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
Gyan Luchowa
School Age Teacher
Meet Mr. Gyan, an experienced early childhood educator with nine years of dedication to molding young minds. Starting as an apprentice at 18, he progressed to become a lead teacher, holding an NVQ Level 3 qualification in the UK, equivalent to an associate degree here in the U.S. Mr. Gyan is driven by a passion for making a lasting impact, infusing sports like soccer and his love for art into his teaching to foster teamwork, discipline, and creativity. With a holistic approach, he aims to prepare well-rounded individuals for success in all aspects of life.
Ivana George
Float Assistant Teacher
Meet Miss Ivana, the newest addition to the Hilltop family, who is excited to start her journey in early education. Last spring, she did an internship at Tilton Elementary School as an Assistant Teacher for grades 1 to 4, where she taught Discovery Club and focused on STEM activities. As the oldest sibling, she gained early caregiving experience, and in her sophomore year of high school, she took a Child Psychology class to learn about child development from birth to adolescence.
Miss Ivana loves creating fun and engaging learning experiences. Seeing children's excitement and hearing their laughter during activities brightens her day. She has also been singing since she was three years old and loves sharing her passion for music. Miss Ivana is looking forward to bringing her experience, enthusiasm, and love for learning to the Hilltop community.
Laurie Finn
SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
Mrs. Finn is one of our regular substitute teachers! She is a Licensed Preschool Teacher by the Department of Early Education and Care, and has 18 years of experience as a Kindergarten Teacher's Assistant. Laurie spent some time in the Family Child Care system as well as a former Licensed Home Daycare Provider. She received her degree in Early Childhood Education from Hesser College.
Mary Lou Keefe

Introducing Mrs. Keefe, a dedicated substitute teacher committed to nurturing young minds and igniting their love for learning. With a B.A. in History and a minor in Secondary Education from Knox College, along with experience as a research assistant at Field Enterprises Educational Corporation, Mrs. Keefe brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the classroom.
Her journey into education began while caring for her grandchildren, where she discovered her joy in working with young children. Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, she assisted in homeschooling her grandson for Kindergarten, sparking a realization of her desire to work with children of that age group. For the past three years, Mrs. Keefe has been a valued member of the Pre-K classroom at Hilltop, infusing her lessons with creativity and enthusiasm. Beyond teaching, she enjoys hobbies like reading, gardening, bird watching, quilting, and knitting. Mrs. Keefe's diverse life experiences drive her mission to inspire a lifelong love for learning in her students.
Tara Swanney

Meet Miss Tara, our dedicated substitute teacher, bringing a wealth of experience and a nurturing spirit to our team. With over 22 years of volunteering in church nurseries, VBS programs, and Sunday schools, as well as homeschooling her own children for the past four years, Tara's passion for childcare shines through. She finds joy in watching children discover new things and delights in engaging with them as they navigate the world around them. As a mother of five children ranging from ages 24 to 16, she understands the importance of patience, guidance, and encouragement in a child's development. Beyond the classroom, Tara enjoys spending her spare time gardening, tending to her goats and chickens, and indulging in her favorite hobby of archery, where she has taught many children the art of shooting over the years. We're thrilled to have Miss Tara as part of our team, ready to support and inspire our students in their learning journey.
Alivia Miller

Meet Miss Alivia, a valued member of the Hilltop School community since 2019. Despite her busy schedule pursuing a nursing degree at Umass Lowell, Miss Alivia generously lends her time to us as a substitute teacher, showcasing her enduring commitment to education and her genuine affection for children.
With a newfound focus in the nursing field, Miss Alivia continues to bring her nurturing spirit to our classrooms. Her contagious passion for fostering young learners remains as strong as ever, and she takes pride in witnessing our students' growth and development. At Hilltop School, Miss Alivia's dedication shines through, leaving a lasting impact on our students and embodying the values of growth and care.
Elizabeth R. Steele
Health Care Consultant
Elizabeth Steele RN, usually known as Beth, has been the Hilltop School Health Care Consultant for a number of years. She is the mother of 3 grown children who all attended Hilltop when they were young. Beth is currently retired after many years of teaching and supporting staff to assist people of all ages who have intellectual, behavioral and physical disabilities. She attends West Congregational Church and has been part of the Senior Leadership Team as well as leading workshops and classes in learning about spiritual practices that bring us closer to God.
Toni Wellspring

Toni is the bookkeeper at Hilltop School, a dedicated professional whose diligent work on the financial front is the cornerstone of our operations. Her incredible dedication and expertise on the financial side of things keep our operations running smoothly.
